Lucie:
One day, at a vet clinic, a small hamster fed her babies. It was a sunny, spring day. The babies ate hungrily. The four of them were five weeks old. Their names were Jenny, Frally, Bennet and Peaches. The mother was called Lacey. They were the vet's hammies, and she (the vet) was looking for homes for them. The vet had hand raised Lacey from when the hamster was four days old. The mother had died of cancer, and the others were very small and sickly. Now the vet, Dr. Emily, got to watch her own hamster raise her young. The hamster closed her eyes, as the babies began to fall asleep.
